This civic engagement initiative harnessed the power of design to encourage the American public to register and vote in the 2016 general election, as well as future local elections. The campaign's centerpiece was an online gallery featuring a collection of original, nonpartisan posters designed by AIGA members. These posters were available for printing and public distribution, aiming to inspire civic participation and voter turnout.

  • Nonpartisan Messaging – Focused on inclusivity and civic duty, ensuring the campaign appealed to a broad audience regardless of political affiliation.

  • Public Engagement – The posters were made freely available for printing, enabling widespread distribution and community involvement.

  • Design as a Call to Action – Leveraged the visual power of design to motivate individuals to take action, enhancing the visibility of voting and registration initiatives.

This project helped amplify voter participation through compelling, accessible design, making the voting process more engaging and impactful for the public.
